If I took out 30,000 in college loan for the next 3 years of my college years left, how long would it take me to pay it all back? Is 30,000 alot?
If you have 30k of debt you can extend the loan over 20 years instead of the normal 10 years. You can also do graduated payments where you start off low, then the payment ramps up over the years -- the idea being that you will rise up and get a better paying position over time, so the larger payment 10 years ahead of you wont be a burden. 30k for an undergrad degree is on the high side but not too outrageous (especially if a big chunk of that is living expenses). The average new car today is well over 20k, for comparison.
Wow...That is quite a bit. Yes an No. It depends on if you will have an above average salary job. What is your major? $15,000 is considered a lot so that's just an idea of how much money that is to be responsible for owing. You better start making monthly payments now cause it will take a while.

School Transcript, do we have to transfer all credits to new school?
In undergrad i went to 4 different schools, but when i finally transferred to my last school (the one i will graduate from) I only transferred 2 school transcripts and not the third, the one I left out I had failed the classes and withdrew the last semester. Am i required to transfer all transcripts, and if so what will happen if my current school finds out??
FYI: this really only applies if you go to a 4 year institution, or a college with selective admissions. If you go to a two year you do not have to report your transcripts if they don't apply to your degree but otherwise you will get in trouble at a 4 year. it is witholding information which when you filed your application you stated you would not do, and the applications almost always say list ALL schools attended. This could get you in a lot of big trouble if you don't go in and talk to an admissions councelor, before this costs you a lof of time and money. This is grounds for removal, but I doubt it would happen (especially if it was a while ago and you are doing fine in your current institution). Most likely they will just say to send it in, and they will look it over and tell you that you might have to retake the class, or simply let it go. BUT if they find out without you, it'll probably be a lot worse. Also a tip- simply write a long letter to your admissions councelor explaining the situation, just state that the first school slipped your mind because it was so long ago and you spent a short amount of time there. Also, mention how you turned your academic career towards the better and explain why you withdrew or failed those classes. Honestly though its best to just talk to your councelor because technically this is grounds for repulsion of admission.
no. only send the transcripts from the schools of which you have taken classes that apply to your degree. if you have no classes that you need from the school that you failed in then dont bother sending those transcripts.
This is not your issue. The issue is: What will they TAKE?????

Am I going to be able to move on and continue my education after here?
Alright, I'll try to make this as brief as possible.
I go to a small community college. This is my fourth semester there and in all honesty, I have been doing terrible which I feel is unacceptable in a community college if I want to succeed anywhere else.
So far, I have 6 W's and my GPA is around 2.6-2.9. I think I didn't actually learn to study until I got here. The whole experience so far has just been kind of stressful and I'm feeling like giving up.
I really only want to transfer a certain school, which is a selective school, so I'm thinking that I won't get accepted there with all my W's even if I pull my GPA up. Is it possible that I can do better and move on from here, or should I just consider settling for a two year degree?
Finish what you started---get the 2-year degree. Then think about getting a job for a year or two while you decide what you want to do with the rest of your life. That would be a good time to apply to a university if you want that BA degree.

What to do/where to go for college?
Hi. I want to study Forensic Science, but I also want to study Hindi. I'm really confused about which college to go to. I know Hindi as a minor is not really effective so I want to double major. I might also want to minor in French/Spanish or both if possible. What colleges are best for me to apply to and that would let me learn what I want to?
If I were you I would go ahead and do the double major and also take French since Spanish is easier and you can learn it at a later time. remember the brain gets lets susceptible to learning new material at an older age.

How hard is to learn Hindi in college?
Okay. This is for people who studied Hindi in college? how hard was it for you to learn it?
Not hard. I am a nativespeak.er
Well, I didn't pick hindi as a subject but yes did attend a few lectures bcoz there was this sweet girl who had hindi as her subject....I felt it was not tough but again it depends on your language skills. Consult a professor from your college.
I did not find it hard at all. OK am still at the elementary stage but some time back I did not even know the hindi alphabets. I managed to read a children story book. Not bad for a novice like me.
Well i learn in my primary school and till now its in my memory. I think its not hard in collage.

What are all of the steps I have to take to become an equine veterinarian?
how many years in college would this take? What could I do to get better prepared?
I actually helped my younger sister look into this.
You will have 4 years of undergrad and around 4 years of Graduate work and then another 4 in some sort of residency. (So about 11-12 years in all)
Where you go to undergrad doesn't matter as much, but going some where that they have a preVeterinarian program and Vet school will increase your chances greatly.
You should look at places like: University of Wisconsin-Madison, Iowa State University, University of Tennessee-Knoxville, Auburn University, and Ohio State University.
In college you should take advantage of all the internships and extracurriculars you can while studying hard to be the top of your class.
Becoming a Vet is not easy and it is a very competitive field, but because you are planning ahead puts you on the right track. Keep working at it and I wish you all the luck!
Four years of college in a pre-med program, then you have to apply to veterinary school. You might also look into AG and tech schools (agriculture and technology), two year programs in animal husbandry. If you are still in high school, all you have to do is just get really good grades in your courses, and find out what schools in your area offer pre-med

Boston University students, what do you like about it, and what are some of the great things, and the not?
I've been admitted to the class of 2013 at COM, and I plan on visiting the school over spring break. I just want to know some details to better help me in my decision. Thanks!
P.S. IF YOU'RE A BU STUDENT CAN YOU ALSO LIST THE INTERNSHIPS OR JOBS YOU HAVE GOTTEN? ARE THEY NOT AS GOOD AS THE ONES OFFERED IN THE CITY OF NY? (I haven't heard of anyone getting internships at Seventeen Magazine, Teen Vogue, etc.)
BU is a great school and I love it here. Our campus is something you have to get used to, it's not your typical grassy open campus, but I personally really like how it's downtown and so close to everything. The T is right outside your dorm and runs down the length of the campus, so you never have to walk far to get on the T. I've had a lot of really great, really funny, compelling professors and enjoyable classes. After my tiny high school, I love how big and diverse the student population is. I've made so many great friends. I think it's a lot of fun here. Boston is a great city to go to school in. There's always a lot going on and there's a lot of spirit and a lot of pride. Hockey games are so much fun. The biggest con would be that the dorms kind of suck. There isn't really a dorm that's great. The really nice ones are far away from classes. The closer ones are huge and no air conditioning. I'm not a COM student, but COM definitely is the coolest building on campus.

Who reads the essays when you apply to a university?
When you do an essay for your university applicationho reads it? The university staff you chose?
if i send the same essay(because it was the same topic) to two diferent universities..is that wrong? What you do recommend?
Any passed experienced???
Thanks
<If you are considering writing the essay to a target audience, don't. There is no way you can predict who (or how many) will read it. It the topic permits, using the same essay for multiple schools is not only not wrong, it is common sense.
Recommendation. Don't be as lazy on the essay as you were with this posting. Spelling, punctuation and grammar count. If it comes up in the essay, it is "past" experience, not "passed". Sentences begin with caps, and "I" is a formal noun. "...." is not a substitute for a comma. "The university staff you chose?" is an incomplete sentence and the word is "choose", not "chose". It's "different" not "diferent".
Yeah, I know - picky, picky, picky. However, lazy habits in writing carry over and become habit. If I were screening an admissions essay and found this many mistakes in the first paragraph or two, I would reject it out of hand and not bother reading past the first paragraph or two.
They have admissions counselors who read the essays. You can't choose who reads it. Sending the same essay isn't wrong if you wrote it. The Common Application is practically made for that. I've sent the same essay to about 9 schools it's not a problem whatsoever, as long as the essay isn't specifically focused on a particular school (you wouldn't want to mention the name of the wrong school).

What are different college classes that you can take in Science?
I know that college classes are different that just the basic ones that you take in high school. In college what would "science" be called? What are some science classes that focus on mainly different sicknesses and diseases? Like how they spread and stuff. Also what is a science class you can take on the environment?
If you don't really know that's fine just tell me science classes that sound really impressive.
Also if you have a master degree in science, what is that called? Because you wouldn't say that you have a masters degree in science would you?
Basically, physical and biological sciences are the two main categories. However, they subdivide and merge into many different areas. The most popular biological major is biology. Biology is a generalist approach to biological science education. You take fundamental courses that educate you on all biological science topics. Under physical science, the most popular are chemistry and physics. But like I said, there's many other subject areas too numerous to mention.
Environment is ecology, which falls under biological science.

Should i get a degree in sociology or public administration?
i plan on becoming a cop one day but i'm not sure what my degree should be in. which one of these two would involve less reading(reading and math are my weaknesses)? which one is considered more difficult(i plan on going to cal state fullerton)? thanks to all who answered.
go with what ever you feel comfortable with... when you start college, try taking classes out of both majors and see which one you like better..... or you could major in one and minor in the other that way you get experience in both.
From my experience:
Do not go the easy way out. Maybe you won't end up being a policeman. Stuff happens. Will you be stuck with a degree you can't use to find a job?
You say reading and math are difficult for you. That's pretty much the basis of all academic education in America.
Physical Science: Language, Math
Computers: Math
Politics: Language
Nursing: Language, Math
Law: Language
Accounting: Math
Business:
Well, maybe not everything requires knowledge. The point is if you want a useless degree that won't help you, take stuff like sociology or public administration. There's still a lot of reading involved though. But if you want something to fall back on pick something that you know you'll struggle with more but the reward is better.
Why don't you major in criminal justice? I know that's the necessary degree in order to be a police officer. Don't just do something to get a degree, study what you are interested in and what's going to prepare you for your job.
Both involve a lot of reading. I would think that sociology would be more applicable to being a cop.

College question... help?
I applied for Dental Hygiene at my community college. I should be getting a letter soon, saying if I got accepted or not.
I noticed on my biography information on the college's website that they changed both my MAJOR and INTENDED MAJOR to say Dental Hygiene after both (it used to only say Dental Hygiene for Intended Major.. they changed it about 2 days ago).
Does this mean I got in? I know I need the letter to be sure, but I really want to know now. I'm anxious haha.
Whenever you are not sure what is going on at a college, it is wise to check with someone there who has the answer. Your suspicion that you have been accepted is probably correct, but just to be sure, call the admissions or registrar's office and ask if admissions decisions have been made. They will tell you if you have been accepted.

I have been put on a waiting list by Cornell University?
I applied for freshman of fall 2009, and was put on the waiting list. Does this really mean "no", or do I still have a solid chance of getting in?
And if anyone has had this experience before, how long does it take for them to get back to you? I need to accept my acceptance from a backup college before May 1st, but I want to see if I can get into Cornell.
Thanks!
Cornell seemed big with the waiting list this year. I think that may be because they don't know what percentage of accepted students will enroll, because more intelligent people with less money would choose Cornell over say Brown for financial reasons. THey need a large window to work with. If the financial crisis has little effect on enrollments, you have a great shot of getting in. If not, you never know in what position you are on the waiting list. i know plenty of people who got into Ivy League from teh waiting list.

Help! I want to be a vet....?
Okay so I am graduating high school this year. I want to be a vet and get my DVM. I am so confused and lost though! I know where to go to get my DVM but I don't know how to get there.
What should I get my bachelors degree in and where should I go? I live in southern california and I am going to start out at a community college then transfer. But where do I transfer to? Please help I have looked all over a bunch of websites and my brain is ready to explode! lol
have you tried your local pet clinics, alot of times, word of mouth is the best advice, especially when ya get it from the experts. go to some of the local vet offices in your area, offer to volunteer for the summer, you need a summer job anyway if you are going to college in the fall. talk to the doggy doctors and find out what they had to do and what schools they went to. plus if you work for them for the summer, you may be able to use them as a reference in school applications...
if you can get into sac state go there and sign up for the UC Davis articulation program. you go to sac state for two years and them you are sent to UC Davis! from UC Davis you can get into a good vet school :)
good luck! maybe someday you'll help one of my pets! :D

What does a ?sign mean after a course number. For example, BIO451?
I'm looking at college websites and I'm wondering what that symbol after a course number is. Anyone know?
It will be a reference for a note that will probably be at the bottom of the page.
Look for the same symbol elsewhere on page with some writing after it.
It can have a slightly different meaning according to the college. I have seen it to mean that there are prerequisites to take the course. Another is that it can be found with another name in another department.

Careers a biology major could have?
I have a year left for my undergrad. And I still need to decide what I really want to do!
What careers are available for biology majors?
I know I really need to grad school before I can actually make any money. But I would like to get an idea of what careers are available for biology majors. So that I can get some more information to start planning out grad school.
Thanks!

Is it possible to major in performing art and minor in zoology and vice versa?
How would that work?
The college would need to have both right?
Yes it is possible but as you said the college must have both areas of study or something similar to it. In some cases, it is possible to create your own major but there are steps you must complete in order to do so. Majoring and minoring in two completely different subjects will most likely set you back since you have to complete different courses in order to graduate with a major/minor. If you want an easy way to obtain a major/minor, take courses that will fulfill both you major and minor rather than taking different courses for each one.

What does it take to be a Registered Nurse?
List all the classes you need to take. Like Chemistry, Anatomy, Physiology, etc. What else?
Well, you need a sound academic standing in high school English, algebra, chemistry, biology, physics and psychology.
An understanding of computers and technology also is a great asset. Coz everything digital technology these days.
Education and training. There are three major educational paths to registered nursing bachelor of science degree in nursing (BSN), an associate degree in nursing (ADN), and a diploma. BSN programs, offered by colleges and universities, take about 4 years to complete.
There are three major educational paths to registered nursing bachelor of science degree in nursing (BSN), an associate degree in nursing (ADN), and a diploma. BSN programs, offered by colleges and universities, take about 4 years to complete. In 2006, 709 nursing programs offered degrees at the bachelor level. ADN programs, offered by community and junior colleges, take about 2 to 3 years to complete. About 850 RN programs granted associate degrees. Diploma programs, administered in hospitals, last about 3 years. Only about 70 programs offered diplomas. Generally, licensed graduates of any of the three types of educational programs qualify for entry-level positions.
Many RNs with an ADN or diploma later enter bachelor programs to prepare for a broader scope of nursing practice. Often, they can find an entry-level position and then take advantage of tuition reimbursement benefits to work toward a BSN by completing an RN-to-BSN program. In 2006, there were 629 RN-to-BSN programs in the United States. Accelerated master degree in nursing (MSN) programs also are available by combining 1 year of an accelerated BSN program with 2 years of graduate study. In 2006, there were 149 RN-to-MSN programs.
Accelerated BSN programs also are available for individuals who have a bachelor or higher degree in another field and who are interested in moving into nursing. In 2006, 197 of these programs were available. Accelerated BSN programs last 12 to 18 months and provide the fastest route to a BSN for individuals who already hold a degree. MSN programs also are available for individuals who hold a bachelor or higher degree in another field.
Individuals considering nursing should carefully weigh the advantages and disadvantages of enrolling in a BSN or MSN program because, if they do, their advancement opportunities usually are broader. In fact, some career paths are open only to nurses with a bachelor or master degree. A bachelor degree often is necessary for administrative positions and is a prerequisite for admission to graduate nursing programs in research, consulting, and teaching, and all four advanced practice nursing specialtieslinical nurse specialists, nurse anesthetists, nurse-midwives, and nurse practitioners. Individuals who complete a bachelor receive more training in areas such as communication, leadership, and critical thinking, all of which are becoming more important as nursing care becomes more complex. Additionally, bachelor degree programs offer more clinical experience in nonhospital settings. Education beyond a bachelor degree can also help students looking to enter certain fields or increase advancement opportunities. In 2006, 448 nursing schools offered master degrees, 108 offered doctoral degrees, and 58 offered accelerated BSN-to-doctoral programs.
Best of luck.
Have you looked at Chico State nursing program??? It's really easy to get into the bachelors of nursing for RN. You can take O-chem, Anatomy, physiology, and microbiology. They will take the two best grades from those 4 classes and then they will take two best grades from the other non-science classes. So if you get an A, C, C, A for those four classes they will take the two A's. If you are able to get A's in at least two clases you WILL definitely get in. Believe me it's was pretty easy to get A's in Anatomy and physiology here.
Are you talking about in high school or college?
In high school you should just take every math and science class available. Also, take psychology.
In Kentucky, before even starting a nursing program, you have to have your MNA license, so it may be a good idea to go ahead and get that.
In college, you'll most likely take Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy, Physiology, Statistics, Psychology, etc. Just make sure you get a good grade on the SAT or ACT because nursing programs are becoming very competitive.
If you're in Canada, you need a university degree to become a nurse. Take a look at the nursing school website of the school you want to attend and there should be a list of the courses that you should take beforehand. They will included advanced level math and sciences (biology and chemistry mainly) and math (algebra, maybe calculus but probably not-but you do need to have a good handle on math). Take a look and see what kind of work you can do to help you get an understand of the physical work you would need to do in preparation for nursing. You could volunteer in a hospital or nursing home and observe the work of other nurse or personal support workers. Many nursing students become personal support workers. Best of luck, and work hard.
anatomy 1 and 2 in college take chem in high school and bio 1 and 2 you need many classes i am a Rn and i took some classes in high school but most in college. you need math and science those are the majority of nursing. the college with the programs will have prerecs that you must have to enter the course. it is a long hard journey to become a nurse. good luck
I take it you're after a B.S.N.--Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Google those keywords and add "universities." Then go to your local college and look up their catalogs, or send for one or two yourself. My ex- has a BSN from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA, and their program is excellent. Not that I'm telling you to go there, but if you write to their School of Nursing for a catalog you'll see what a good program involves. Also Duke University--likely one of the 2 or 3 best in the country (I taught Nursing students, among others, and roomed with med students). If all you want is an R.N. (Associates Degree), the requirements aren't so rigorous, but your opportunities for advancement and you salary will be much less. I answered that question several times in the last 6 months, and you can look those up under "Answers" and "Best Answers" on my Profile page. I haven't been specific because requirements will vary slightly among schools, and catalogs will give you the best idea. Oh--two links: www.odu.edu and www.duke.edu should help, too

What are some college majors who commonly take elementary algebra?
and why do people take elementary algebra ?
Can't you just take the assessment test at your junior college and test into a much a higher math if you teach yourself at home with your book ?
You're confusing elementary algebra with that of introductory college algebra. They are completely different. Elementary algebra is not even a collegiate-level course; it is considered remedial education taught only at community colleges.
Yes you can test out of it. Every degree needs atleast one college level math course. Elementary algebra is two classes before college level. There is no reason to take elementary algebra unless you took a placement test and it was determined your not up to par with college level math. College math are the classes past intermediate algebra.
You could, but who would WANT to take a much higher course if they don't have to? I sure as hell wouldn't. And many people do not have the skills to teach themselves things from a book. That's the only way I can learn math at all but I know very few others who can do it at all.
Many people take college algebra depending on their majors. For example, if you are deciding to teach elementary students, a multiple subject credential is required, therefore taking classes that you would soon teach.
Ask your school. Every college has different rules regarding these things.

Scholarship Interview Question?
1) Are you supposed to shake everyone's hand even if there are 10 people? Do I say, "Nice to meet you" or just my name?
2) How would you respond to, "What are some of your weaknesses?" What is something I could talk about.
1.) Just greet the people as you were to greet guests at your home, or mature friends. If they're waiting for your presence, then you should shake everyone's hand where it is not too quick, or a moment that doesn't take too long. Say hello, or something that lets that person know that you're a positive person who's often usually around the crowd.
2.) Start by setting a bit of a background about yourself. For example, I am a student going to X university, and plan to graduate with a major in X. Yet, one the struggles I face is being organized.
Weaknesses doesn't have to be something big. It has something to do with a simple problem you can't over come.

for number two say what you are interested in and what you want to get out of their school, and then tell them why you need their school to improve your weaknesses, if i get best answer tell me how it went on the best answer comment!!!

Questions about college (MCAT?)?
I know this is going to sound like stupid question, but I need to know about college.
1. If I were going to apply to Yale medical school, would it be different than applying to Yale?
2. Can you transfer colleges?
3. What is the MCAT?
4. When do you take the MCAT?
I know this sound really stupid, sorry.
1. You would be applying to the faculty of medicine at Yale, so it wouldnt really be any different than applying for Yale, just that there are certain requirments that need to be met before you apply.
2. You can't get into in a low tier medical school then try to transfer to Yale if thats what you were planning haha
3. The MCAT is the medical college admissions test. It covers several subjects in physics, chemistry, biology and verbal reasoning/reading comprehension. Its a 6 hour long test.
4. Most people take the MCAT the spring/summer before the year they plan to apply to medical school although the test is offered at certain dates all throughout the year.
The MCAT stands for Medical College Admissions Test. It is taken typically during the junior and/or senior year of your undergraduate program. Medical School is not the same as college...

University of Colorado at Boulder or University of Iowa?
I am really stuck between attending Iowa or Colorado. I like both campuses. I'm kind of unsure which to choose because I am from Illinois and I know a lot of people from Illinois go to Iowa and I may want to broaden my horizons. Colorado is very expensive however. My bro went to Iowa so I know a lot about it but can anyone tell me anything about CU? Thank you.
Hey, I live in CO and I could probably tell you some about CU. So first of all, as you may already know, CU Boulder has a beautiful campus. The city and area is beautiful and the proximity to Denver is nice. There is so much to do in Colorado outdoor wise. There is skiing and snowboarding, hiking, you name it. I think for your college years, it'd be a new experience. I can relate to you because I think I am traveling away from Colorado for college ONLY to get a new experiece. I love Colorado but I sort of just want to see something else for a little bit.
CU-Boulder is a huge party school. The city in general, is known, infamous or not, for its partying. From knowing people who have gone to CU, I know that opinions are so broad. Many have loved it, and I know one that has hated it. The area and school-- as you know it is expensive-- is also known for having a rich population, which is why some might not get along as much.
Well, I really hope this help and I know you'll be happy with either school. GOOD LUCK!!

Is college overrated?
(a college education to be exact)
NO.
especially these days.
you can't get anywhere without at least a bachelor's degree.
seriously, invest in college.
completely agree with the person above
And college is just such a good experience, even if you decide not to party. I absolutely love it.

What year in high school is most important to colleges?
if a student got a 2.9 gpa freshman year but got at least a 3.5 the next three years will they have a hard time getting accepted into good colleges?
no, not necessarily, depending on the college you are looking to attend. Usually colleges check the junior year because of SAT tests and most of your standardized tests are completed. Also, they don't over analyze your freshman year because there are several factors that go into it such a newer, larger school with older kids, immaturity and just new scenery. Between your freshman year in HS and freshman year in college is a huge difference and it won't make or break you, but even a 2.9 is not the worst. Good Luck, You will be fine!
junior year & 1st semester of senior year. you'll get at least a 3.3 which is satisfactory even for good colleges (but not IV league schools of course).
you'll have to do well in your SATs, & have several extracurricular activities (volunteer hours, work experience, school clubs, teams, etc.).
Your Grade 12 Year, But They Also Look At Your Grade 11 Year.
They Will Usually Not Look At Your Grade 10 Year (Unless They Are Down To 2 People And 1 Spot. And They Will NOT Look At Your Grade 9 Or Before Grades.
grade 11th is the most important year anyone will tell you that but they all count towards ur GPA and you should be fine as long as you raise ur GPA!
I've read that the 11th and 12th gpa is important. I may not be correct. I read this in one random question here in yahoo answers...
they pay a good bit of attention to Junior year.

How should change my major at UCSB?
Im an incoming freshmen and i wanted to go ME instead of Psychology.. they said i should send an email request, but should i make it formal like a essay request?
No, an email should be fine. Just tell them you want to switch (perhaps include a brief one or two sentence explanation). Advisers change students' majors all the time. It's just a matter of telling them what to retype in their computer.

Which test should i take, the ACT or SAT? I am also from Toronto,Canada..?
Any other advice on getting into a US school as a canadian citizen is greatly requested
Technically, it doesn't matter. Some say it depends on where you're wanting to go to school. Schools on either coast tend to prefer the SAT and schools in the midwest tend to prefer the ACT. However, most schools usually accept scores from either one. Take the test that you think you'll do better on.
No, US history is not on the test. They test mostly on math, vocabulary, reading comprehension and science reasoning.

Preferably I would like Saturday and Sunday shifts to be the same, as I attend a college during the week. Any extra hours are appriciated. Thank you for taking the time to read this letter, and I hope to hear from you soon.
You do need to find out her last name because that is professional. To use just her first name is to imply that you know her personally. You want to sound as professional as possible because you want to be taken seriously. I hope this helps.
Dear Ms. Emma,
I am looking for extra hours to help pay for driving lessons and [Manager's name] referred me to you. Since I attend college during the week, I would prefer a shift on Sunday at the same time as my Saturday shift. If this is difficult to arrange, I'm not picky- any other time for me to work extra hours would be appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
I hope to hear from you soon.
Sincerely,
Chris
you might want to put in where u work or the name of the place plus your last name. and a signature in the end with a email or a phone number were she can contact you

Federal Grant Money, same in all states?
Does Rutgers give a lot of money out in grants?
Also, if you qualified in Fed grant money for 2150 at one school, will it be the same there as another in a different state?
Your Pell Grant money will be the same no matter what school you attend... and no matter what state.
Rutgers probably don't give out ANY grant money. They prob only give out scholarships. It's your state and the Feds who give out grant money (based on the fafsa results) like the Pell and the FSEOG and SMART grant.

Inside birthday cards, what other words can you use instead of
after the little poem or whatever's in your card, you write
'from: ___' or 'Love, ___'.
What else can you use instead of From and Love? Because 'from' is too plain, and 'love' is too lovey-ish.
Best Wishes
although i think writing something (a poem or birthday greetings) and just signing your name looks classy :)
Put a random adjective with the ending "ly" before "yours" and you'll seem cute and original i.e. "magnificently yours" or "ridiculously yours" or "opaquely yours" or "odourlessly yours"
Enjoy your special day.
Best wishes.
Cheers.
Thinking of you.
Regards.
Many happy returns of the day.
Choose one, or something else and then sign your name.
.......All the Best
.........Wishing you the best day ever!
sometimes Happy Birthday again
:):)
I always end my cards with the words "Always, Adam". Its good for Friends and family.
i just place "always" when it's for friends.
or end it with "see you."
hmmm if is to ur man i always put " from ur girl poppi" (thats me)..n i always finish it with... " i love u more then a fat kid loves cake" :)

What's the value of an Argosy University degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology versus a degree from Colorado State University?
There are a lot of bad reviews of Argosy University. Go to onlinedegreereviews.org to see how they rate Argosy University Online. I would not go there if you paid me to.Good luck.

okay so heres the scoop, last week i was walking down the road when all of a sudden i saw an arab!!!! he must have recently moved into my apartment complex because i found his towel thing on the stairs. i consulted with my fellow klansmen and klan chapterhouse on what might be neccessary action. they suggested that i bathe him in righteous fires, normally i would oblige but recently my informant in the department of homeland security has told me that the department has caught wind of our recent linchings of the dreaded tyrome biggs!!! i want to purify this man but im afraid that this time the u.s. justice system wont look the other way. what should i do???
my fellow klansmen, we must work to get rid of scum like the arabs off the face of the earth!
we must conquer and destroy chase, conquer and destroy!
the solution is simple. we must join together to eradicate the bacteria of the arabs, jews and blacks! they are using the blacks as muscle against us all!
You know, there are two things in this world I really hate.
1) When people start a question with OMG.
2) Racist a$$holes.
Congrats, you're 2 for 2.
if you're for real, how about you turn yourself in to the local mental house.
if you're not, get a life and don't ask stupid questions.
America is the Melting Pot
so go, chill out and learn to melt together!
Ease off on the crack & get some sleep.
Get a life, you sad-act.

Are there any countries that offer free college to foreigners?...like American foreigners?
I was wondering if countries like Finland and Switzerland offer free education for foreigners. I'm American and would like to do my graduate years in one of these "free" countries but I'm not sure if they're only free for citizens.
As of 2010 Finland and Sweden will be joining most other EU nations in offering free/subsidised tuition fees only to other EU citizens (who have been resident for at least 3 years) and so as an American you will not qualify. Whilst having free tuition is clearly very attractive, we do actually pay for this through our higher taxes and so I'm sure you can appreciate that we're not that keen to pay for the education of an American who has never contributed to our taxes!

At university can you mix any two subjects together?
For example...
Fashion and Spanish.
Or...
Photography and Geography.
Thanks!
At some universities you can mix some of the subjects up. It's called a joint honours. A friend of mine is doing one in French and Business Studies. It depends on the courses and the universities you are looking at. You can usually find out on their websites what courses you can combine. Hope this helps.
No. It depends on the individual university as to what they allow for joint or combined degrees. Some may not allow you to do two subjects together because they feel they aren't good to study together or because the timetabling doesn't allow it. If you have a particular joint degree in mind there is probably a university that offers the two together though.
usually you can. Some people like to double major in two very different areas.
However, sometimes certain programs don't allow a double major because they are too specialize and the workload demands that you devote all your time to it. Often, these majors are within structure "programs", like engineering programs for engineering majors or art programs for graphic design or illustration majors.
Dual-degree program, sure. The problem is the amount of classes. You see, doing a dual-degree in two sciences or two languages is fairly simple as there are lots of courses in common. I daresay you'd add at least 2 years onto your college career by mixing the ones you listed, as there are few courses in common.
Yes, as long as you think they are both beneficial to you. That's called joint degree:)
You can do 50:50 joint degree and 75:25 known as major/minor degree. You have to check first whether any university run your choosen mix of subjects first.
yeah i can mix the Photography and Geography.and thanks don"t worry be happy trest me
Yes, the first combination is much more likely than the second though.

I really need some career advice. Please please help me. Ten points to most helpful. Thank You.?
OK, so here the deal...I finished high school last year and took a year off to decide what I ultimately want to do, and finally I have come to the conclusion that I want to be an entrepreneur. I thinking about majoring in business, but I don know what specialization to choose...ANY IDEA? Also, I don really have any business ideas. If I come up with something, I kind of want to start something now. The only problem is..I don really know what industries are going to boom in the coming future. Also, I worried to do business in this economy, what do you think??? I just don know if I want to major in Business. ANY ADVICE WOULD BE HELPFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
So, my questions are:
1) What specialization do you think is the best? (More job opportunities?)
2) What industries are going to boom in the future? (Best to do business in?)
3) Do you think I should start some sort of business now?
4) Is it a good idea to major in business? (Considering the recession?)
Some colleges, like Babson, actually allow you to concentrate in entrepreneurship. You'd be a business major, but your focus would be entrepreneurship.
You should major in business, if you think you'd enjoy it. It's a very flexible major - what you do with it is up to you, and depends, in large part, on which co-ops, internships, and other career-type experiences you get while you study. Even today, business majors do get hired. And by the time you graduate, this recession should be in the past.
Which specialization? Go with your strengths. For example, accoutants are always in demand. Always. But do you like accounting? If not, then don't do it.
Which industries? Medical devices, pharamceuticals, healthcare, hospitals, education, and green energy. But does that mean that you'd be a failure if your interests took you toward sports management? Absolutely not.
Starting a business now? If you have an idea, why not? Keep it small and simple at first, and build.
The economy is going to be okay. I promise. especially by the time you get ready to graduate, a lot of things can change in 4-5 years. if you want to start your own business, you need to think of what you enjoy doing. Advertising is almost always a good idea, also graphic design and marketing.

I bombed my exams this week?
So, I%26#039;m a sophomore-ish junior in college. I had 3 exams this week, and I think I screwed something up in each of them. I studied pretty hard for each exam the night before, and I knew the answer to every question when I was preparing for them.
However, when I was actually taking the test, I always missed a couple of questions. I just couldn%26#039;t recall anything... my mind went blank...
I felt so bad and so guilty afterward. I messed up all three exams. I know those stupid mistakes could%26#039;ve been avoided... I just don%26#039;t know why I couldn%26#039;t do well on the exam. I%26#039;ve been that sort of perfectionist, and I really really want to be 100% correct on every exam. (Of course, sometimes teachers make stupid and tricky exams which turn out not to be what you%26#039;ve expected.) I feel terribly freaked out when I fail to get an A in a course. Perhaps I%26#039;ve over-emphasized college in my life.
I simply can%26#039;t forgive myself for making those dumb mistakes on the exams this week. I%26#039;m feeling terribly bad... What shall I do? Please help...thanks!
You%26#039;ve got to get past it. It%26#039;s done. There is nothing you can do about it now. As for next time, try studying a little for 3 or 4 nights before the exam. Always get plenty of sleep the night before. Studies show that students who are cramming do much better sleeping the night before than staying up late to study.

Can a teacher do this?
One of my teachers decided to give a test today. She said that if you're not here and don't write the test you get a zero. The thing is, it's not just people who skip the class who will get a zero it's anyone who isn't there. Even people who are legitimately sick and bring a note in from their parents or doctors saying so! Can she make you get a zero even if you're so sick you can hardly drag yourself out of bed?
A teacher has the right to offer "pop' quizzes during the class session. I call mine - "Reading Recall" If a student is absent, there is no way to respond to the pop quiz. However, I do offer other opportunities for a student to 'earn that grade' through something else given. Keep in mind - there are many ways that teachers assess students. They don't always have to be the usual "test".
In my school, each teacher must present a syllabus to the students which include everything they should know and expect for that school year - including the possibility of pop quizzes that they might miss. Parents and students read and sign and then I sign.
This prevents questions later in the year about "I didn't know....."
I also offer the opportunity for my students to know what their weekly grades are and they keep track using a rubric. They should not be surprised if they fail. They keep track of their own assignments, submissions and work. Additionally, because we are an Arts Magnet school, our students often get credit for participation in plays, band, and other dramatic opportunities in and out of school.
Legitimate absences are allowed to me made up within two days. Many students' don't even take advantage of this. Also, our state tracks absences anyway. If there is no 'excused' absence slip - 4 days - gets you a phone call from the truant officer. If your parents can't explain your absence reasonably to them, they will subpeona them to court and let them explain it to the judge.
Surprise quizzes .. i love those. YES, your teacher can do that. You may not like my response but i was subjected to a lot of those when I was a student. Guess what? I studied hard and I went to school always prepared and ready for anything.
But such is life, you know, school prepares you for life (after school) and trust me, experience is a far more bitter teacher than one who gives surprise quizzes.
As for those who were not there or even legitimately sick .. tough but that's life. LIFE waits for no one ... you have to jump in the "boat" if you want to be part of the crew ...
Teachers are suppose to follow a grading policy. Tell your parents to ask for a copy of it in the school office and NOT from this teacher.
I am sure that what she is doing is NOT in the policy. Have your parents talk to principal.
I SWEAR teachers are getting worse and worse by the minute!!
Absolutely.
I doubt her "if you're not here you fail" holds true to people who are legitimately sick and can provide a doctors excuse. She has the right to request proof that you are ill - most teachers know when someone is lying and when someone is not.
No she can't. I can guarantee the school administration will overrule her if she actually tries something that absurd. Don't sweat it
Yes, she can do that, she's the teacher.... but if some one has a proper explanation for missing the exam.... she might leave him and mark absent instead of giving 0 marks.......
no she cant do tht...tell your mom. and Report her...i swear teachers can b bitches there so dumb
she might be able to. is it fair? no. but nether is students bring in fake sick slips to class. Be nice to your teacher and talk to her. she knows who is who, and might just might give you a break if your a good student of hers.
learn from this, life is not fair, its not meant to be fair. its how you handle it that really matters.
is it fair that she has to back track over information that other students have missed just because they skipped class.
to do that she has to slow down the entire class, remember she only has a finite amount of time to teach the class.
your choice if you want to talk nice to the teacher or force her (by going over her head). either way you will loose in the long run. the grade is bad but force her; then you made an enemy of her. gain her respect just like you want her to respect you. know when to pick your battles; and which ones are worth fighting for, and which ones to ignore.
oh and fyi. i have personal experience with just the same thing but
worse. i was out sick for a month. the principle said to my mom that i would have to repeat the 10th grade. all she wanted was homework for me. it was denied. so with my moms permission i droped out. i studdied for a year on my own. went to a adult testing center and took the test. I got my high school deploma not a GED but a high school deploma. a year early. my mom took my deploma back to the principle of that school and through it in his face and said i told you so, and he did it a year early. she said you are an expert on education? yeah right!.
was it fair no, but you do what you need to do.
life is never fair, or should be, or will be. learn that and your ahead of the rest.

worse. i was out sick for a month. the principle said to my mom that i would have to repeat the 10th grade. all she wanted was homework for me. it was denied. so with my moms permission i droped out. i studdied for a year on my own. went to a adult testing center and took the test.
Why do people go
Curiously, it's similar to the noise you make when you drop your ice-cream cone on the floor.. awwwwwww...
I think its more of a gag reflex.
I don't do that. If I see a puppy that I actually think is cute that's nice, but no animated noises from me. Same thing goes for a baby. I usually don't find other people's children cute, so this is very rare. If I see one that I actually think is cute, I just look at it and think to myself, what a cute baby. That's it.
It's pre-linguistic communication. A hold over from our wild animal calls. Just like when people yell" woooooooo" a lot at mardi-gras and the MTV beach house, it's the noise people would make in the wild before we got language, to call out for sex.
People say that because well its because the puppy for eg is adorable or that owner is there and you don't want to say that's a ugly dog to hurt there feelings. Dose that answer your qustion?
society. it taught to them to go awww when they see cute. sometimes its a duty, say when the baby is actually really ugly........? you feel obliged to say awwwwwwww how cute
I LOVE TO SAY AWWW to cute things.
sometimes u have lack of words to praise or u dont know how to start praising , when u find anyone cute, then ur heart force u to say "awwww"
don't know, its just a thing, natural reflex i suppose lol..i say it all the time
Because their cute..besides would you look at a baby or puppy and say Yuck that is so UGLY:
becasue all the things you mentioned are cute
cuz theyre fricken cute!! well babies arent, but puppies are!
a reaction never studied about
i don't know but i'm the queen of saying it....awwwww sh*t!
I hope that you 'get it' some day. You are missing a lot...
idk but it is kinda weird!

Financial aid help very confused?
I already signed up for financial aid and gave them all my paper work. I applied to a community college and was wondering, who do I give my financial aid to once I get it. Do you give it to them on my orientation or when I start school?
The financial aid that you get won't be sent directly to you. The school that you attend will get all the money and then if there is any left over after all the fees have been paid then they will send a refund check to you that you can keep and do whatever you want with.
Financial aid takes care of all that stuff though, so as long as you get enough financial aid you really don't have to worry about a thing.
The financial aid will get sent to your school, not to you. Basically they pay themselves with it, and if there is any left over after your tuition, etc is paid then the financial aid office will give you a check for that money.
Also, did you do all the financial aid forms for your community college too or just the FAFSA? If it was just FAFSA call your school and see if there's anything else you should do, the college should have its own forms/paperwork too.

THIS CONVERSATION FROM MONK
MONK : Here's what happened
I mean, here's what really happened.
When Keyes started playing drums
a few weeks ago,
he wanted the neighbors to complain.
That was the key to the whole plan.
Last night, the machine TOGO
must have been on a timer.
It kicked on at 10:30 while Keyes was
across town robbing the jewelry store.
Officer. It's Marge Johnson.
He's doing it again.
Marge didn't see anybody
drumming last night.
What she saw was a machine.TOGO
MR KEYES : Very clever, Mr. Monk
I'll take that gun, captain.
CAPTAIN: Hey, Keyes, you don't want to do this.
You don't want to kill a cop.
MO NK- Or a ex-cop.
NATALIE- Or a ex-cop's assistant.
KEYES: You, blondie
Gimme your car keys.
Come on! You're not gonna need'em.
All right. Down on your knees.
Do it!
Captain, get down!
RANDY : Togo! Down, now! Now! Now! Move!

It means that he does not get it. He did not follow what they were talking about. He is still confused, and what they said didn't help him understand anything. It means that they confused him even more.

DEBATE: Which day actually starts the weekend?
Is it Friday, or Saturday?
Some people are not as well off as those that enjoy weekends off. The weekend is whenever i say it is caused i am big like that. I say saturday, sunday then bam, bam, honey i am coming home.
(haha, Pointer is funny!)
Since Monday through Friday are called the Week Days, Saturday would be the first day of the two days (Saturday, Sunday) which make up the "end".
Technically, Sunday is the first day of the week, for according to Bible counting, Saturday is the sabbath, the last day of the week, the term "weekend" isn't even used in connection with counting the days that way. More accurately, the Sabbath ran from sundown to sundown, so Friday eve 'till Saturday eve was the one day of the Sabbath.
Most people consider the weekend to begin Friday night, as the last Week Day has ended after school or work.
Clear as mud! (depends on your perspective)
Friday, right after work, for most people; except for shift workers Nurses, factory workers, etc.
hey it's the friday bcoz on friday afternoons all looks forward to a wonderful late night social events drinking dancing clubbin whatever
For me, the weekend starts when I get home Friday or crack open the first beer. Whichever comes first.
Wednesday
Most people say Friday at 5 pm.
Anytime after work on Friday starts my weekend
when you leave school/work on a friday i think

Do these sentences have the same meaning ?
What she saw was a machine
she saw what was a machine
she saw the thing which was a machine
''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''...
and i also want to know can i use " are these sentences same ? instead of " do these sentences have the same meaning ?"
What she saw was a machine <<<correct
she saw what was a machine <<<not correct, it should be ''She saw a machine"
she saw the thing which was a machine<<<grammatically correct but there's something that makes it something, idk....
"Are these sentences the same?" is more correct that the second
They are all grammatically correct. but
the second one makes me think that it is no longer a machine, it has been damaged beyond repair.
The third one as well has this effect.. Unless you are looking for special effect, the best way to write the sentence is: She saw a machine.
meaning is same for all, but grammatically first is right other two are wrong.
and second part of your question you can use both, as both are right.
but the first one looks better.

Please can you tell me ion your own words what does it mean?
The development of quality standards in health and social care is promoted in government and professional documents.
Just in your own words tell me what it means?
Thank you
The government, along with health and social care professional bodies, try to promote better standards in the field of health and social care by the use of the literature which they produce.
We need to set up some standards of quality so that our work is professional looking like other government projects.
or
The government tells us that we need to meet certain standards of quality in our health and social care.

the government controls health and social care businesses?

Wat is an effect of the titanic?
i need to know this for a big project soo help me?? plz
One of the biggest effects was the change in Marine laws. There now has to be enough life boats to provide for EVERYONE on the ship. On the Titanic there wouldn't have been enough boats even IF they had been filled. Also it likely changed the procedure on when life boats are going to be launched. Remember most of the life boats were half-full at best when they started sending them off. There were probably changes made on ships about radio communications as well. Although the rules may have been in place this would have reinforced following them. Last is the ship was NEVER called unsinkable, it was NEARLY unsinkable.
A reminder that, technology and human intelligence is never power full enough to over come natural tragedies. We can build the best and the greatest of machines, but we can never turst our abilities to the fullest because nature will have its way.
Killed families, made changes in marine rules, highlighted the importance of life jackets and boats.
Many people died and it was a disaster that is known world wide. It made people realize that no ship is "unsinkable".
damage to the environment
Its still the top earning movie in Box Office history lol
maybe if you asked in english?

What was the stance the United States took on imperial expansion from 1898 - 1917?
I'm having a little trouble formulating a few paragraph on this. I'm pretty sure I know what I want to say, but I don't know how to say it. Please help!
I know the US possessed Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Nicaragua, Panama, Guam, and the Philipene Islands, among others. They'd gone from having an inward focus to an outward focus.
Did the recent sweep of industrialization have anything to do with it?
What am I missing?
Thanks in advance for your help.
They didnt like the European countries expanding their empires but they have no problem expanding their own borders. However, the U.S. didnt really consider it imperial expansion since they would say things like well only stay here for a temporary amount of time. And by temporary it just meant indefinitely. >.> I think it already started at that time where they would practise economic imperialism.
spheres of influence. that's what your question is referring to

Help, I don
I don't understand these, I am suppose to Factoring the differences of squares.
1. x^2-49
2. -16 49h^2
3. 18a^4-72a^2
Please Help me I don't get it. These are my last couple of problems for this section.
1) (x-7)(x 7)
2) did you type that right?
3) below
18a^4 - 72a^2
18a^2 (a^2 - 4)
18a^2 (a-2) (a 2)
q2 rearrange the expression
49h^2 - 16
consider each term as a perfect square
(7h)^2 - 4^2
now you have "The Difference of Two Squares"
factor as in q1... the sum times the difference
"In mathematics you don't understand things. You just get used to them."

Do Not Sell, Or Do Not Sale?
At work, my friend put on some boxes "Do Not Sale," and our boss and I thought it was funny because we think it's supposed to be "Do not Sell," but she thinks it can go either way. We don't think it can go either way, so I told her I'd check here to see what everybody else thought.
Thanks!
You are right, it is DO NOT SELL. You may continue to laugh!
It is sell. Period, No discussion. Maria, however, is also wrong. Sale is not always a noun. "For" is a preposition, therefore, 'for sale' is a prepositional phrase. The subject of a prepositional phrase is not considered a noun in the traditional sense. It is part of the phrase.
Your friend is mistaken. Sale is actually a noun (person, place or thing). Sell is a verb (an action) So when you say do not do something (an action) you should use a verb, not a noun.
Eitheir you're not going to put them on sale, or you don't want to sell them. Two different things.
It is "Do Not Sell" in this context. Or, as another has said, "Not For Sale".
Do Not Sell
or
Not For Sale, would be correct
She's wrong it's don't sell
Thanks!

ENGLISH MAJORS...the rule
Well, I've found a word that breaks the rule. Can you guess it?
I'm an English whiz too, and I was answering a ? and used this word and the spelling just hit me. For those of you who do know the word, when did you make the connection to the rule?
Is it one of those weird words? :)

Can an American citizen but Philippine high school graduate go to college in the USA?
American citizen who started her education in the USA, moved to the Philippines after 6th grade to start 1st year in a private, Catholic high school, wants to go back to America for college. Do I have to go back to high school in America (high school in the Philippines is only 4 years long) or am I limited to a college that accepts foreign students only?
I have just spent time looking at online application for North Texas State University where my wife wants to go and there is a longish section on citizenship and various choices there. But the first question is "Are you a U.S. Citizen?" and if you answer yes, you skip all the rest. With an American birth certificate in hand, you are a citizen.
American high school is only 4 years long, after 8 years of elementary although in some systems 7 & 8 are called Junior High or Middle School which may also apply to 7, 8 & 9 with labeled high schools in that district offering 10, 11, 12.
If you started Philippine High School after 6th grade and only took a total of 10 years of school, then the colleges would want to look closely at what you had.
A lot will depend on the college. Like any student trying to get into college, you'd have to have grades good enough for the college, probably need to take those SAT's (whatever the kids take these days) and get a high enough level on them, put in your application, write the essays, do the interviews and hope the college will accept you. Your best bet would be to go online and look at the colleges you are interested in, review what they requirements are, send for an application and brochure. If you like the college a lot, you can probably set up a phone interview to talk to an admissions counselor to see what you'd have to do.
you have to take an assessment test at the school you're applying for so they'll know what year level to accept you in. otherwise you can directly apply to the university you want to enter and ask for their admission requirements. take it from there. good luck
High School in America is 4 years long as well.... just a side note for ya.

Why are there college girls walking around our middle school?
Why are there college girls walking around our middle school?
ok, why do i always see college people walking around? why are they at our school? and why would they be at middle schools instead of high schools?
They have them at my school too, they are probably doing the Teacher training course, where they leave school and watch other teachers work and see if they want to make themselves one eventually.
Source(s):
Ive asked Some of them at lunch
are you sure they are not student teachers or aides? you should make friends with them maybe they will buy you beer or smokes
student teaching? visiting old teachers?
Why don't you stop one of them and ask?

English grammar help: how to use verbs after "to"?
English grammar help: how to use verbs after "to"?
well, I can't actually distinguish when I should change the verb to be "-ing" form after "to".
For example,
"I want to party."
here, party is a verb and it's not in a "ing" form
however, in some cases,
for example,
" I opposed to working with this group."
here we have "ing" form after to.
I mean that's not only the example,
can anyone plz explian me why it is like that and if you guys have any more situations like that, plz like me know.
Can you just jot down a list here to state in which cases to use "-ing" form after to?
thanks!

"To" has two different meanings and functions in your two examples.
In "I want to party," the word "to" is part of the infinitive form of the verb "to party." English always uses the word "to" plus the infinitive form of the verb to express the infinitive form in a sentence.
In "I am opposed to working with this group" the word "to" is a preposition. "Working" is the participle form of the verb "work," so it's actually functioning as a noun in this prepositional phrase "to working." When "to" is a preposition, it has to have an object, and the object has to be a noun, so the participle form of a verb can be the object of the preposition.
That's the rule--I hope it helps and didn't just confuse you more :\
to + (the verb in present tense) = infinitive
e.g. "to run" is an infinitive
to be or not to be, that is the question.
Party isn't a verb
when adding ing to a verb do not use to
i want to go partying?
well, I can't actually distinguish when I should change the verb to be "-ing" form after "to".

In "I want to party," the word "to" is part of the infinitive form of the verb "to party." English always uses the word "to" plus the infinitive form of the verb to express the infinitive form in a sentence.

a convenience far outweights it's risk, but make sure you know the details. thefine print of the situationcould get you in the end...
Think thoroughly before deciding to take the 'easy' option, because the little complications that you will probably overlook might turn round and bite you. ;)
The fact that it is easy and convenient makes the risk seem less. But make sure that you know the all what is involved. Easy to overlook detail that could affect you unexpectedly.
Make sure you know all the consequences before taking the easy option
Don't take unnecessary risks, the hidden factors may catch you out.

i dont no anything about that school personnaly, but it sounds like its either a form of homeschool or cyber school. But colleges will still accept you, either way as long as you have good grades. I go to a cyber school and I and can get into college,

It looks like it is a charter school.
Don't worry, colleges will not look down on the school because it is a legit school but done through the internet. You're mom is just leary. Tell her not to worry.
With Governor Strickland signing a bill to cut virtual schools by 74%, it's looking pretty grim for ALL Ohio virtual/charter schools. I have attended several budget sub committees to voice my opinion about this. It's getting scary. If it passes, it will look like virtual schools will either crumble or can only accept a certain amount of students per year. If they do crumble, that means back to public school or do the unschooling method in which your parents would be your teachers.
Let's just hope and pray.

I am pushing myself to hard.?
I am pushing myself to hard.?
I'm taking Pre-Ap Geometry right now(FYI...I'm a High Skool Freshman) and I took Pre-Ap Algebra 2 last semester. Now I'm planning on taking Algebra III and Trigonometry as a Sophmore, Math Analysis and Pre-Calculus as a Junior, and finally AP Statistics and AP Calculus as a Senior. Am I pushing myself too hard to become a Peditrician or something else in the medical field?
depending on your mathematical aptitude and your drive this could be right or too much (your other classes also factor in) This is a decelerated version of what I did (i ended up going to college my senior year of highschool)
myopinion-- It has been done, and you can probably do it
yeah, your overdoing it. by the time you get to college you might feel that you need a break and slack off. but you should relax. remember, life happens to you when youre busy making other plans.
Not at all. When you enter med "skool", you'll be prepared to work hard and understand the concepts which will give you an advantage over the others.
As long as you can handle it, I would say it is pretty impressive. Keep up the hardwork and you might become something in this life.
Not at all: best get it out of the way now, because there’s gonna be better things to worry about when in college.
i dont know wot any of that stuff is so yes i think

Help on Algebra 2 question?!?
Help on Algebra 2 question?!?
Nick's morning workout is a combination of jogging and riding his bicycle. He takes a total of 1 hour to jog 2 miles and bike 8 miles. His speed on the bicycle is 8 miles per hour faster than his jogging speed. Find Nick's approximate jogging speed and bicycling speed.
Thanks!
easy eight and 16
well he is going 2 miles a hour running. So if his bike speed is 8 miles an hour faster that would make his bike speed 10mph
that's not much of a algebra question its just simple understanding the problem.
jogging speed = 8 miles per hour
bicycling speed= 16 miles per hour
wow i have algebra 2 right noww and i still dont understand this question! lol i dont know where to start.. what chapter are u on?
my brain hurts

Are genetics and punnett squares a biology or chemistry topic?
Are genetics and punnett squares a biology or chemistry topic?
They lean more towards biology, more specifically; genetics
biology, punnett squares deal with possible percentages of inherited traits, whether recessive or dominant, homozygous or heterozygous, etc. while the study of genetics deals with genes and everything about them. They're both skewed towards biology, although chemistry can be applied.
biology - they both have to do with genetics and genotypes and what not - although in the begining, there is some "chemistry" involved wink wink -giggity giggity, giggity goo - stay tuned america :P

Which method is correct, an HD TV or a HD tv?
an HD TV
Your question is way too broad.
I don't know what you mean but I would say HDTV is the way i would type it if that is what you are asking.
an
The "H" actually starts with the long "a" sound (ach with a long a). That vowel SOUND signals the need for "an."
don't care really
